Accessibility
Accessibility statement.
We want everyone to be able to use our websites, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.
Our target
Last updated 15 October 2026
This statement covers ene.com.ng and the three business websites, green.ene.com.ng, mobility.ene.com.ng and digital.ene.com.ng. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Every page has one main heading and a logical heading order, so screen reader users can move around it.
- Every image that carries meaning has a text description. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Every form field has a visible label, errors are written out in words next to the field, and you can complete every form with a keyboard alone.
- Links and buttons show a clear outline when you move to them with the keyboard, and tap targets are at least 44 pixels on phones.
- Text and background colours are chosen for contrast, in both light and dark mode. You can switch between them with the sun and moon button.
- If you have asked your device to reduce motion, the websites switch off their animations.
- Pages work when zoomed to 200 percent and on screens as narrow as 320 pixels, without scrolling sideways.
What we know still needs work
- Some documents linked from the investor and press pages are PDFs that may not be fully accessible. Ask us and we will send the content in another format.
- Embedded maps come from OpenStreetMap and may be hard to use with a screen reader. The same addresses are always written out as text beside the map.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on our websites is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email info@ene.com.ng, use the contact form, or call or WhatsApp +234 805 722 6647. Tell us the page and what went wrong. We reply within 48 hours.
How we test
We check pages with a keyboard, with automated checks, and at phone, tablet and desktop widths in light and dark mode before they go live. We review this statement whenever the websites change significantly.
